Junko of all trades, is an artist, maker, designer, illustrator. She was born and raised in Japan. She moved to New York in 1998 to study art and received her B.F.A degree in illustration with honors at School of Visual Arts. Over ten years she worked in stop-motion animations industry as a freelance set designer and fabricator. She has designed and created many sets for post production studios in NYC where she has discovered the joy in working in different mediums and techniques, and as well as working with all the talented people she met.
高校卒業後ニューヨークに渡米。スクールオブヴィジュアルアーツ、イラストレーション課を卒業。卒業後、フリーランサーとしてニューヨークのアニメーションスタジオでストップモーションアニメーションのセットデザイン、製作に携わる。いろいろな素材や技術での描写、素晴らしいアーティストやデザイナー、製作に関わる人々と一緒に一つのものを作る喜びを見つける。
